Big Country plays college basketball  Big Country remains a BPC Baron After meeting with Brewton-Parker College's new men's head basketball coach, Jared Collins has decided to remain a Baron. Collins originally signed to play for Steve Barker at BPC. Barker, however, is no longer the coach and he has been replaced by John Jones. Big Country met with Jones and decided to honor his decision to transfer from Division 1 Georgia Southern to the Mount Vernon school. Big Country hit a 3-pointer, a layup and a slam and he was a guest on the Eagles' radio broadcast. Listen to the highlight courtesy GSU Audio   Big Country scores first collegiate points Jared Collins has been waiting for over a year to score his first points as a Georgia Southern Eagle and on December 20, in his second collegiate game, Big Country hit two 3-pointers in a span of a minute and 56 seconds as the Eagles pounded NAIA Division II Asbury 82-51. Jared played seven minutes and scored six points with two rebounds. Big Country talks about his memorable night.
