2008 Season TCHS cheerleaders prepare for new season Coming off a fourth place finish at state, the Toombs County competition cheerleading team has spent the month of June preparing for the 2008 season. Instead of going to camp in Atlanta, like they did last year, the girls have been working out at the middle school each morning. Of emphasis has been conditioning and flexibility. Y-101 Story  Watch the girls at practice Video   2007 Season Toombs County cheerleaders finish fourth in state In one week the Toombs County competition cheerleading team went from finishing fourth in the region, in their own gym, to fourth in the state in the big coliseum in Columbus. Head coach Rhonda Graham explains how Audio  Nicole Mosley, Casey Stewart and Raime Partin talk Audio Cheer Dawgs make it to Saturday's finals in Columbus For the first time in school history the Toombs County Competition cheerleading team has advanced to Saturday's finals at state in Columbus. The girls finished sixth in Friday's competition. The Cheer Dawgs appeared live on Y-101's Midday Memory Show after they received the results.  Audio     TCHS cheerleaders change routine After finishing fourth in Region 4, the Toombs County competition cheerleading team altered its routine prior to leaving for state. Pierce County was the Double A winner and Screven County placed second.  2007 Schedule September 22nd - Dodge County High School   Septemeber 29th - Toombs County will host to a competition in the TC Middle School gym   October 6th - Shaw High School in Columbus   October 13th - East Laurens High School   October 27th - Worth Couny High School   November 3rd - Region Competition will held in TC  Middle School gym.   November 10th & 11th - State competition in Columbus Toombs County Cheerleaders at camp in Atlanta  The Toombs County Competition Cheerleading team recently went to Atlanta to learn a new routine for the upcoming season. Cheerleading has become a big thing at Toombs County High School. There are three separate teams and last year the competition team went to state. Audio Story
