 Thez's season and college career comes to an end two yards shy of another record 

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson's college career ended in the opening round of the NAIA playoffs. Thez's Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers lost to defending national champ Sioux Falls 35-7. Robinson rushed for 107 yards and scored Northwestern's only touchdown. He ended up just two yards shy of breaking Patrick Crayton's single season rushing record with the Rangers of 1,426 yards. Crayton now plays for the Dallas Cowboys.  Earlier in the season Robinson broke school records for rushing yards in a game (274) and touchdowns in a game (five). For the second straight season Thez has been named the Central State Football League's offensive player of the year.  Thez comes off suspension and breaks another school record

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson came off a one-game suspension for disciplinary reasons and broke the Northwestern Oklahoma State school record for rushing with 274 yards on 27 carries. Robinson had a long run of 34-yards and scored one touchdown as Northwestern beat Southern Nazarene 45-7. Earlier this season Robinson broke a school record with five touchdowns. Thez now has 1,318 yards and is averaging 132 yards per game and 7.1 per carry. He has scored 17 touchdowns, including 11 in his last four games. Thez racks up a 133 yards in rout

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson, the NAIA's offensive player of the week for his 245 yard and school record five touchdown performance last week, ran for 133 yards and scored three touchdowns in Northwestern Oklahoma State's 59-7 home victory over Bacone College. Thez has now rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his two seasons at Northwestern. He now has 1,044 yards and is averaging 116 yards per game and 6.6 per carry. Robinson has scored 16 touchdowns, including 10 in his last three games. Listen to highlights courtesy KALV Radio Audio 

 Thez breaks school record for TD's 

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson broke Northwestern Oklahoma State's record for touchdowns in a game by scoring five in his team's 59-14 win over Peru State. Thez ran for 245 yards on just 20 carries.   Thez amasses 221 yards and scores twice 

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson rushed for 221 yards and scored Northwestern Oklahoma State's first two touchdowns in a 32-8 win over Langston. Thez ran the ball on 32 of the Rangers' 76 offensive plays. 

Thez rushes for over 100 yards again 

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson rushed for over 100 yards for the third straight game. Thez ran for 103 yards on 13 carries in Northwestern Oklahoma State's 56-0 homecoming win over Oklahoma Panhandle State. 

 Thez rushes for 126 yards and scores twice 

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson rushed for 126 yards on 20 carries and scored two consecutive touchdowns in the third quarter, but unfortunately his Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers lost to visiting Sterling College 22-21. The Rangers had a game-winning field goal try blocked in the waining seconds. NW Oklahoma State, ranked 23rd in NAIA Division II, falls to 2-3. Thez has rushed for 356 yards on 64 carries and has scored six touchdowns.

Former Toombs County Bulldog Thez Robinson had his best game of the season as his Northwestern Oklahoma Rangers evened their record at 2-2 with a 34-0 road win at Southwestern College in Kansas.  Thez scores a touchdown in NW Oklahoma win

After suffering two season opening losses, The Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers beat New Mexico Highlands 17-9. Northwestern scored in just four plays in the opening drive of the game and Thez ended the possession with a 7-yard touchdown run. Thez carried the ball 19 times for 67 yards and had a long run of 14 yards. Robinson also caught one pass for 11-yards. Through three games, Thez has carried the ball 34 times for 117 yards and has scored two touchdowns. He has also caught two passes for 17 yards. Game Story 

 Thez's team falls to 0-2 with loss to Top 20 team

Former Bulldog Thez Robinson, who ran for 1,009 yards in his first season at NAIA Northwestern Oklahoma State, ran for 56 yards on 12 carries as the Rangers lost to #18 Southeastern Oklahoma 46 to 28. Thez also caught a pass for six yards and returned a kickoff for 14.  Game Story

On August 23 Robinson ran the ball just three times for minus four yards in a 33-7 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma

  Where is Thez Robinson?

Have you wondered whatever happened to Thez Robinson?  Robinson was the starting tailback for the Bulldogs in 1999 and 2000.  He always seemed to have big games against rival Vidalia.  In 1999 he rushed for 1400 yards and in 2000 he ran for 1800 and helped the Bulldogs advance to the state quarterfinals.

Thez signed with Lou Holtz and South Carolina, He red shirted, played one season and then was dismissed from the team.  In 2003 he played one game with Southeastern Louisiana.  He didn’t play in 2004 or 2005, but he did make a successful comeback in 2006 with NAIA Northwestern Oklahoma.  Robinson was named the CSFL Offensive Player of the Year.  He led the CSFL in rushing, amassing 1,009 yards in ten games on 166 carries.  He also led the conference in all purpose yards (1,306) and scoring (6.6 pts./game). 

Highlights of some of Thez's big games

On the ensuing play, Thez Robinson used some impressive jukes during a 40-yard scamper, making numerous defenders miss, to score the Rangers first touchdown of the season with 14:35 to left until the half.  Robinson rushed for 147 yards on 17 carries and had two kickoff returns for 32 yards.  He was named the Football Gazette’s NAIA player of the week.

Robinson scored the Rangers’ first touchdown over UCO when he ran for 98-yards on a kickoff return for a touchdown. He was chosen as the Central States Football League’s Special Teams Player of the Week.

Robinson had a great game, running for 125 yards on 26 carries and capping the game with the Rangers’ final touchdown.

Thez scores 2 touchdowns on 22 carries for 148 yards.

Thez Robinson led the Rangers individually with 105 yards on 13 rushes. 

Thez Robinson was the leading rusher with 56 yards on 12 carries.

Robinson racked up 141 yards on 22 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns.

Thez Robinson rushed seven times for 66 yards and a score.

Thez Robinson wasn’t far behind with 146 yards on 22 carries and one score.

Northwestern went 6-4 and won its last three games
